Clive Sherman visited South Africa in 2018. He brought with him a photograph of his father donating a trophy to "a new school" in 1954. He asked his host if that school still existed and was astonished to find not only that it did exist, but how the College had developed.
He was also able to identify his father in the photograph of the presentation of the trophy. Up until his visit, the indentity of the presenter of the trophy had been a mystery.
