Letter refers to writings of Benjamin Bennet who had interviewed Collins as a young reporter shortly before the death of Collins in 1937. It provides a revealing description of the simple lifestyle of this College founder.

This volume contains a report on the Official Opening of the College and the laying of the Foundation Stone. The front cover features a photograph of the then Chairman of the Association presenting a trophy to Gilbert Tucker who accepted it on behalf of the College.
The identity of the presenter of the trophy remained unknown for many years. In November 2017 the archivist was contacted by Clive Sherman who was on a visit to South Africa. He had a copy of the photograph of his father presenting the trophy and came to find out "if St Stithians still existed". Needless to say, he was delighted to find out that it did. The College was delighted to finally be able to identify the person in the photograph.
1970c Stithian Village scenes, including the Anglican Church, the village school (where Collins began his education) and Collins Parc, named after Collins who left a bequest to the village.
