Welcome

Welcome to the St Stithians College Online Archive, a digital repository intended to make accessible the historical records of the College dating back to the founding of the Trust in 1941. Here you will find a variety of images and documents that provide online Access to the Memories (AtoM) of the College: its history and development, and the people that have studied at or served the College in one way or another. Our records include documents, artefacts, images and recordings which reflect the multiple pathways that the College and its alumni, staff, parents and wider community have trodden since the vision of the founders was first conceived. Further, the archive provides links to the local and Cornish roots of the unique environment entrusted to the College. The archive works closely with the local heritage association in order for both the College and the wider community to draw mutual value from the association.

St Stithians College is committed to providing broad access to our archival collection, both physical and digital for teaching, learning and research. We encourage curiosity about all the people, places and events that have shaped the College. Providing free and open access is key to the College achieving its mission.

An archive collects all records that fall within its broad collection policy and makes no judgement on its content. The College archive reflects all aspects of our history from multiple, diverse and changing viewpoints. Almost all records are Open access. The few records that may be closed can be accessed on application for justified research purposes.

Please register and log in to explore and enjoy all that the Archive has to offer.
