Histoire archivistique
Archival collection - Harris Album
The identity of the presenter of the trophy remained unknown for many years. In November 2017 the archivist was contacted by Clive Sherman who was on a visit to South Africa. He had a copy of the photograph of his father presenting the trophy and came to find out "if St Stithians still existed". Needless to say, he was delighted to find out that it did. The College was delighted to finally be able to identify the person in the photograph.

Note de l'archiviste
Documents of the Cornish Association are kept at the Harold Strange Africana Library , at Johannesburg
Library. Anna Smith, the Chief Librarian at the time the Cornish Association closed down , I
think 1972/3 , was instrumental in seeing they were retained in South Africa. [Contribution to rootsweb by Graham Dickason in 2011, https://lists.rootsweb.com/hyperkitty/list/south-africa-eastern-cape@rootsweb.com/thread/1093602/].
